Pastor Brent Oliver grew up in Kokomo, Indiana and is an Ordained Minister through the Assemblies of God. He graduated from Haworth High School in 1977 where he was a standout baseball player. After attending Butler University for a short period of time, Pastor Brent transferred to Indiana University where he received a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration in 1981. After feeling God’s call to full-time ministry he enrolled in Berean College of the Assemblies of God and received his first credentials with the Assemblies of God in 1984. Before embarking on God’s plan to establish a church in Delphi, Pastor Brent served in both Peru and Logansport, Indiana encompassing over 22 years of full-time ministry. His vision and creativity has been the benchmark for the growing ministry at Delphi First and after 17 years his passion and leadership could not be stronger.
He is honored to have his wife, Tammy, beside him in life and ministry and enjoys all 6 of his children; Dustin, Cassidy, Ashley, Ezra, Gabriella, and Marco. In his spare time, Pastor Brent enjoys reading, especially biographies of Christians, golf, racquetball, basketball, and of course any involvements in the lives of his wife and children. One interesting fact about Pastor Brent that you might not know is that he was scouted as a Major League Baseball pitcher and holds many of his high school pitching records.
