The day of rest, which includes the public worship of God’s people is very important to God. He created it for a purpose. Most people don’t realize that in the time period when God gave the 10 commandments, the weekly day of rest and public worship was of such importance to Him that He said, “anyone who desecrates it must be put to death” (Exodus 31:13).
This coming Sunday, October 25th, I will take a look at the 4th Commandment, and its relevance in our world today, and why He considers it so important. I invite you to join us at 9:30am this Sunday at Delphi First Assembly of God, or on livestream at www.delphifirst.org.
