I just heard that Pastor/Evangelist Steve Hill has died. Steve was a drug addict in the 1970's, and near death when an evangelist came and led him to Christ. He miraculously recovered and answered God's call to preach the gospel. Steve is best known as the evangelist at the Brownsville Assembly of God Church revival in Pensacola, Florida. From 1995 to 2000 over 4 million people from over 150 countries made their way to Pensacola to attend the revival. Tammy and I were there three times during those years--and will never forget that experience. Untold thousands of lives were dramatically saved and healed in the services where Steve preached. His strong repentance message was followed by thousands receiving Christ as Savior. His life and his ministry are a testimony to the power of God to change lives. Religion is worthless--Christ is priceless! Thank God for His work in Steve and through Steve. Congratulations Steve on your promotion!
